VDVO establishes new format for general meetings
Berlin, April 5, 2019 - Every club, every association faces the same challenge: Mandatory general meetings with reports from the board of directors and auditors are required by law, but are little appreciated. Therefore, the Association of Event Organizers (VDVO), known as an innovative thought leader in terms of meetings and events, organized its own annual general meeting as a networking event with exclusive gamification in the internationally known mydays adventure center in Berlin. After only 59 minutes the official part including board elections was ticked off - the previous board with Doreen Biskup, Kerstin Pickny, Kurt Schüller and Bernd Fritzges was confirmed in his office.
The open exchange about the diverse projects of the VDVO could be cultivated in detail in the trendy scene gastronomy "The Dawg" - premium hot dogs from the star chef - and with the most exciting and demanding simulator incentives in Formula 1 racing cars and airplane cockpits.
The MICE Think Tank has long been promoting the immense benefits of participative event formats. With the eventization and gamification of a member assembly of an association or association, which is strictly regulated by law, the VDVO sets new milestones in terms of innovative events. Shared experiences in the extremely trendy location of the mydays Erlebniswerk at the Berlin Zoo as well as cutting-edge live communication on the social web staged the meeting of the leading event planners in Germany as a stage for mutual inspiration.

The board of the VDVO was unanimously confirmed or newly elected:
- Bernd Fritzges, CEO
- Doreen Biskup, deputy chairwoman of the board
- Kerstin Pickny, board member
- Kurt Schüller, treasurer
The creative spirit of the "wild MICE thinkers" will now be awakened again in a workshop in the newly founded "Business Bad Saarow" academy: in the highly inspiring lateral thinker atmosphere of the Hotel Esplanade on Scharmützelsee, new, international projects of the association are to be worked out and opened up to be put on the way.
The most recent innovation of the VDVO is the first MICE arbitration tribunal headed by specialist lawyer Thomas Waetke - known from EventFAQ.de - which started its work as an extrajudicial body in legal cases relating to meetings and events.
