Call for HSMAI Europe DACH Advisory Board members
- Advisory Board will be part of a strategic drive to support membership and the hospitality, travel and event industry recovery in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- News follows on from the recent appointment of Andreas Kohn as Chair of HSMAI Europe DACH
Berlin, Germany - 15 February 2022 - Nominations are open until 1 March 2022 to apply for a number of prestigious leadership positions on the DACH Advisory Board at the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Region (HSMAI) Europe. The successful applicants will work with the recently appointed Chair Andreas Kohn.
The DACH Advisory Board will be part of a strategic drive to support the Association’s membership and the hospitality, event and travel industries in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the post pandemic area - as, many make their first steps on the path of their business recovery.
Election Applicants – criteria
- Must be living and operating in either Germany, Austria or Switzerland
- Applicants should have a background in senior management, marketing or academia within the hospitality industry.
- Passionate about supporting other hospitality brands’ growth and business recovery in the DACH region

In addition, the Board, will be working closely with two prominent business schools in the region; SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern and EHL Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. The aim is to build even stronger ties with the undergraduate/post graduate community; to attract new talent to the industry, create new employment opportunities and boost the region’s economy. The Board will also be meeting with the Schools to ensure that students are armed with the necessary leadership skills and competencies in the modern era of hospitality.
